Experienced cardiovascular interventionalist with competence in coronary, peripheral and structural heart disease interventions. In the last 13 years his research interest has been mainly focused into the “Panvascular Disease Approach” and in 2016 he has been recipient of the prestigious “Young Vascular Career Advancement Award” from VIVA and LINC associations (Las Vegas, 2016). Antonio Micari is member of the main PCR Board (Responsible for Stroke Track) and has been elected as member of the Nucleus of Working Group for Aorta and Peripheral Disease of the European Society of Cardiology. To date is Co-Director of Invasive Cardionagiology of Humanities Gavazzeni Hospital in Bergamo.
